.:: of hand claps and gratitude ::.

Salam and Greetings!

Just noticed that I use salam most times ryte~ hehe. Salam means PEACE to those who don't know. yeah, vocab of the day~ lalala...

So...
If you're happy and you know you clap your hands!
If you're happy and you know you clap your hands!
If you're happy and you know it and you really ought to show it;
If you're happy and you know you clap your hands!
[hopefully that's the right lyrics~ haha]

[clap clap. clap clap]

Why with the sudden clapping? Thankfully, I am grateful to have passed my exams. It is all thanx to HIM the almighty. So; clean [no pun intended for BERSIH lah! lol] and pretty much undisturbed (academically) holiday up till 24th sept! HOWEVER not much has been planned.

[yes, i said they look cuddly. you a got problem? hehe :P ]

I've been telling people I've been mendugong -ing at home. Which literally means lepaking and doing practically nothing. No offense ye dugongs. Truthfully they look cuddly to me all of a sudden! ha! yeah, sidetracked jap but i don't think anyone is surprised~

Anyways... I've been addicted to this song; no, not a belieber; but his songs aren't half bad to be honest~ Out of topic as usual. Well, the song is 'Next To You' and the video I'm posting is a cover by Conor Maynard. Quite a talented singer I have to say! No, no... I MUST SAY. haha. bukan setakat have to je... Lyrics wise, go google la. haha. This post is long enough as it is~

Hokayh. That's probably all for this post. Very all over the place and unstructured as expected. hehe. The main point is, let's be grateful for all that has been given to us. Being grateful and redha [wholehearted acceptance] most times will give you a better peace of mind. Yes; among the nonsense and rambles; there is a take home message kids! hehe.

In all honesty, there's so much stories about having wholehearted acceptance and tawakkal (reliance) but I'll keep that for later posts when I don't have anything better to spout. haha.

Till next tyme dudes and dudettes.

.:: of a lazy saturday ::.

Salam and Greetings!

So what was a guy to expect when he thought he was going to a wedding reception when at lunch time abah announces that we're not going? Haha. Of course I raided the kitchen like a guy suffering from starvation. He didn't have breakfast since he woke up like... when it's nearly noon already. Luckily mama came home with some food for tumtums. Yes, I'm trying to make the word tummy cute. Seems that it didn't work. Owh well...

And so, later on, abah announced that we'll be going to Desaru Beach for an impromptu family outing. For this guy who's been bored doing nothing at home; it was a definite yay lah~ The two lil' kiddos of course had their lil' fits for about a few minutes before giving in to the... well, it wasn't much of a choice anyways~ haha.

So after zohor prayers, of we went in our lil' white myvi. Mind you, I thought I was gonna be given the chance to drive but me no ask, me no get. Next time we shall ask; yes, definitely. Abah wanted to test out the new highway that they said was free for the whole month. That's his main objective apparently aside from avoiding being cooped up at home for the whole day. He brought along his eagle kite that later on also involved the not-so-excited-at-first me as well who had to hold the kite and stuff. haha.

So after about 2 hours drive, we arrived. Me and mama stood not doing much as the lil' kiddos ran into the water getting themselves thoroughly wet. Then we decided to lepak2 near the water edge. Abah suddenly came up with the humongous (ok, that's maybe exaggerated but still~) kite and asked for my help. Me not so much of a beach lover unless we were staying real near it so can go clean ourselves up easily lah kan. Hate being sticky2 as the sea water dry up. And all the sand in your feet. Call me pessimistic but it's annoying. haha. But anyways, playing with the kite wasn't bad i guess. Brings back childhood memories~

[this here is Desaru Beach. and yes, it's from the net. But it does look exactly like this, trust me]

And so after sitting down cuci-cuci mata (well, i did anyways) as we adults (yeah, i just made myself sound old) sat in absorbing the whole sea-beach-lapak2ing atmosphere, we decided to leave as dust was gonna set in real soon. The lil' kiddos slept on the way back. We took the Masai route then ended up somewhere near Senibong; a great place for stuffing your faces with seafood. No; I have not been to Kota Kinabalu for their seafood so don't tempt me! haha.

Owh well... Not much happened really. But I have to say am a huge fan of sotong goreng tepung (battered calamaris i guess). Like I can eat 'em and be contented. haha. Anyways, we didn't order much of 'em since we ordered other stuff as well. But the highlight will always set on the calamaris! hehe. We also had this delicious ikan siakap halia kukus (me-no-english. haha, well, can't be bothered to look up siakap but basically it's steamed fish. healthy2).

[Sotong Goreng Tepung! i heart you]

Came home really stuffed. Not much fridge raiding tonight. haha. And tomorrow, we're definitely going to a wedding reception! Wedding food! yeeha! haha. Yeah, I love my food; Go figure!

That's all for this post. Thought I'd write more even if it's total nonsense.

.:: of humble beginnings ::.

Ta-da!

So I've decided to start a new blog. Why? Just because. Yes, not much of an explanation however going into details will probably bore you. For those that haven't seen my previous humble abode, you can click here! (if you're interested lah~) So to kick start eh blog, I'd like to take a few minutes of your leisure reading time to actually explain the misspelling of the blog title.

You see... GREEN is the new BLACK. Okayh, well maybe not but I love the colour. Having an extra 'R' there was just to fit it what I think my blog will probably contain.

[Sam talking gibbering from Transformers; see, geniuses think and talk alike~]

G for Gibberish -noun
1. meaningless or unintelligible talk or writing.
HAHA, ok, I don't intend to deliberately write unintelligibly but one can't run from it at times. And I like the word gibberish. lalala~

[this is how i look when i start ranting. have a mental picture of it!]

R for Rants -verb
1. to speak or declaim extravagantly or violently; talk in a wild or vehement way; rave.
YES. This ladies and gents; is one of my specialty, although it may not seem so to people that don't know me too well. To have an attribute of having a mulut laser also helps with this one.

[technical difficulty, cannot center this pic! LOL. blogging noob sungguh~]

R for Rambles -verb
1. to talk or write in a discursive and aimless way.
Rambling on and on can maybe be classified under one of my least favourite attributes. LOL but I do it anyway. Very unsystematic lah this guy one! hehe. I can go on and on about something I like which sometimes can be annoying. So be warned ladies and gents; be warned!

E for Et -conjunction.
1. and (latin)
And yes, this proves that we learn something new everyday. All this while I thought et was french. Today I am proven wrong by the Dictionary.com. haha. Sheesh, talk about embarrassing; but one learns from past mistakes. That's what makes us human grow. cover la tuh~

EN for Endless Nonsense -adjective + noun
1. never stopping words or language having little or no sense or meaning.
Well, it may seem as nonsense but hey, it may make sense. How am I to know? I haven't posted much yet have I? hehe

So there you have it folks. An impromptu vocab lesson from yours truly. Haha. So the post turned out longer than I planned and expected; see how unplanned  and unsystematic i can be now? Haha. So I'll stop here for now.

Wish me luck in keeping this new lil' humble abode alive yeah?

Later Dudes and Dudettes.
